‘Elements of the Differential and Integral Calculus’ by William Granville

October 16, 2007

Elements of the Differential and Integral Calculus (Revised edition) by William Anthony Granville was published in 1941 and so is in the public domain in some jurisdictions. A set of scans is available at Internet Archive. Thanks to David Joyner of Open Source Mathematics for this.

Worth noting that, given that this was only published in 1941, it is unlikely this is out of copyright in most EU jurisdictions. It also looks like the link to the IA is wrong/broken.

Well spotted, Rufus! I tagged it with both ‘open’ and ‘non-open’, and specified ‘in some jurisdictions’, but you’re right that its worth pointing out that it is probably not open in the EU. It would be interesting to track down an earlier edition to see what the date was. The IA link had an excess quotation mark, and is now fixed.
